Merry Christmas! Looking forward to a new #wavexpe Merry Christmas! Looking forward to a new #wavexperience in 2021.

Let the Golden Twenties begin! And make compassion in fashion again! As well as be more kind!
In February 2020 I wouldn't have thought that in D In February 2020 I wouldn't have thought that in December 2020 I would be that lucky.

Lucky about having a well-paid part-time job which I signed a contract for two weeks before #lockdown1.0 in Germany.

Lucky about becoming part of the patchwork BREE collection family - even though just being an part-time employee in a company that, in true fashion forward mode, already experienced the insolvency stage in 2019.
But I guess patchwork always means compromizing and making something from torn up patches of leftovers from the past. And yes, I'm well aware that Patchwork will be trending in 2022. Thanks to Dolce&Gabbana. You know, in fashion and in pandemics, Italy is often a step ahead of Deutschland.

I am lucky about finding a new passion for spreadsheets and budgeting at this pandemic-driven time. And thus having a new vision for my personal three to five year life plan and budget.

And I'm very, very fortunate to finally being able to live my passion for fashion on a personal level and not thinking about textiles through the eye of a Marketing Manager that wants to sell all the things.

I used to be a Content Manager. Nowadays I'm a content woman.

[On the picture: A BREE wallet that holds my well earned cash. A pink holographic tape that I got in my company Advent Calendar bag. A special salt mix with dried flowers and herbs that my colleague Susanne gifted me. And a special Christmas card and Mandarine that were missing in my Advent Calendar bag, but that my kind superior managed to get me later. He will be missed.]
Not just read this book by @hollybourneya 'cause i Not just read this book by @hollybourneya 'cause it perfectly fits into my life colour scheme. But it looks damn good on my version of a Moroccan pouf.

Yesterday I started into the New Year. My 33rd yea Yesterday I started into the New Year. My 33rd year on the globe. Which means I'm nearly halfway through my life as a working woman!

And even though Corona meant I couldnt invite many of my local friends to celebrate, I felt very well connected through Social Media, Messenger apps and the good old phone. Anyway, even in a normal year I could rarely celebrate with the full circle of friends scattered around the country and the continents on a workday midweek. But you can all be sure that one day there will be a backyard party II happening.

On Saturday the family will celebrate with a Raclette dinner and I might even visit the seaside. I suppose the Fischbrötchen stall is closed for Winter break now, though.
For colleagues and family I made some quick cookies.

Now I'm going to play around with my sewing machine and use the new knowledge I got from my one on one session with a very helpful lady from the Nähmaschinenhaus in Lange Reihe, St. Georg that I received a voucher for with my purchase of the machine half a year ago. With that knowledge I might even conquer the buttonhole on a denim skirt I made weeks ago.
Never ever going to the parents without visiting t Never ever going to the parents without visiting the Sea!
It just makes me happy!
